The Helpful Hands Foundation participates with Congresswoman Corrine Brown Orlando Job Fair

With one in ten Floridians out of work, this is a difficult time for job seekers in Florida and around the nation. In an effort to connect residents with local resources, Congresswoman Corrine Brown is hosting a job fair in partnership with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, State Representative Geraldine Thompson, and other local organizations.
When: Monday, June 29,
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Amway Arena

More than 50 companies including state and federal agencies are expected to participate. In addition, various local organizations will provide workshops and training on interview techniques, résumé preparation, how to dress for success and ways to improve job search skills through networking.
This job fair represents a tremendous opportunity to network with and speak directly to prospective employers in order to improve your chances of finding a job in this challenging economy.
